Day one checklist (everyone)
The game gives every new player eight starter goals. Do them in this order and you will earn₦11,000 before you have worked a single shift:

LAPO Baby: your first week
You start with your home's starting cash plus a ₦60,000 LAPO loan. You owe ₦72,000 in total, at₦12,000 a week. You also get Hustle level 2, and every skill grows 25% faster, which makes LAPO the best start for anyone chasing promotions.
- Day 1: starter goals, then a jobFinish the checklist above. For your job, pick something you can do with Hustle 2 and zero other skills: Trading at Balogun Market starts at ₦7,200 a shift, six days a week.
- Days 2–5: work, and train one skill at nightWork every shift. In the evening, train the skill your job uses for promotion (Hustle for Trading). With LAPO's 25% bonus, level 3 comes quickly.
- Before Saturday: set aside the must-payIn Mushin that's ₦2,400 rent plus the ₦12,000 loan payment. Don't spend it at Quilox on Friday.
- Week 2+: clear the loan, then upgradePaying the loan off frees ₦12,000 a week. Moving from Mushin to Yaba costs ₦18,000 up front (three weeks' rent) and adds ₦3,600 a week.
Nepo Baby: your first week
Daddy hands you ₦500,000, a Prado (you only buy fuel), a furnished mini-flat inLekki Phase 1 with the rent paid for the year, Charisma 2, and a job as Branch Manager at "Daddy's friend's bank". You don't have to worry about money. Your problem is boredom, and wasting the head start.
- Day 1: show up for workBanking shifts start at 8 AM on weekdays. Your Charisma is 2, and moving up to Executive Director needs Charisma 5, so practise in the mirror you start with.
- Days 2–7: put money to workPut spare cash in the Naija Reserve Bank (interest every day), or buy a small business from Phone → Invest. A₦150,000 recharge kiosk pays out every evening at 6 PM.
- Build skills for a second careerNepo players have the time to train Coding to 3 for Product Management or Oil & Gas, two of the best-paid ladders.
UNILAG fresher: your first week
You start in 100L with your first session's fees paid, a bunk in a hall of residence at ₦1,200 a week,₦3,000 allowance every Monday and no loan. Lectures run Monday to Friday at the Lecture Theatre.
- Go to lectures Your degree class decides a permanent pay bonus: 20% for a First, 12% for a 2:1, 6% for a 2:2 and 3% for a Third.
- Earn on campusUNILAG has student gigs: Help Mama B Serve pays ₦650 per 90 minutes from day one; braiding, selling recharge cards and frying puff-puff pay more as your Hustle and Cooking grow.
- Eat cheap Bread & Akara is ₦200, Rice, Beans & Dodo is ₦350 on campus.

Cheap food that fills you up
- Amala & Ewedu at Amala Shitta, Surulere: ₦300 for +70 Hunger. The best value in Lagos.
- Malt & Suya at the Oga Sunday Viewing Centre: ₦250, +30 Hunger.
- Cook at home: Indomie is ₦200 for 5 packs; Mama Gold rice is ₦550 for 4 pots.
Week two and beyond
- Get your work skill to the level your next promotion needs (see promotions).
- Buy a generator or solar so NEPA cuts don't ruin your evenings.
- Once you have a buffer of two weeks' rent, look at a first business (from ₦150,000).
- Try a weekend in Abuja or Port Harcourt: flights from Murtala Muhammed Airport, buses from Jibowu.
